Circus time –
This is a fun original canon for intermediate piano players and could be used for recital or practice fun. This is a good time to discuss canon’s, what they are and how the hands imitate each other. Practice this piece slowly with hands alone the slowly with hands together. The student could choose a circus animal and draw pictures to go with their song. They could even write a story or verse.
