Dream 'n' Variation is, of course, a play on words resembling "Theme and Variation" but this is definitely a dreamy sounding piece for an upper elementary or early intermediate player. I have had students in the 9-12 age range who have enjoyed playing it. The tempo may and should be adjusted to suite the particular player with their teacher's input. I hope you or your students will enjoy this little supplemental solo.
